Common questions
I can't sign in.
Make sure you're using the email address you signed up with. If you've forgotten your password, use Forgot password to receive a reset link. Still stuck? Email support and we can look into your account.
I didn't receive my verification email.
Check your spam folder. Verification emails come from a no-reply address and occasionally land there. If you still can't find it after a few minutes, email support and we can resend it.
How do I delete my account?
In the Midas app, open Settings → Account deletion. On the web, sign in and go to Settings → Account. If you cannot sign in, email support@dearmidas.com from the email address on your account and request deletion. Deletion is permanent and removes your profile, posts, comments, votes, saves, and messages.
How do I report a post, comment, or user?
Every post and comment has a report button in its action menu. To report a user directly, visit their profile and use the report option. Urgent safety concerns can be emailed to support@dearmidas.com with the link to the content in question.
How do I delete a post I made?
Open the post and use the action menu (…) on your own post. You can edit or delete any post you've made. The same applies to comments.
I was banned from a community. What happened?
Community moderators can remove members from their own community for any reason. If you believe this was in error, message the community's moderators. If you've been banned from Midas entirely, email support and we'll review.
How do I change my language, display name, or avatar?
Sign in and open Settings → Profile. Your language preference is saved to your device.
