Account Deletion

Midas lets users delete their account and associated account data from the app or the website. Midas is owned and operated by Speed Labs LLC.

Delete your account in the Midas app

  1. Open the Midas app and sign in.
  2. Go to Settings.
  3. Open Account deletion in the danger area.
  4. Follow the confirmation prompts to permanently delete your account.

Delete your account on the website

Sign in at dearmidas.com/login, then go to Settings → Account and use the account deletion form.

Request deletion if you cannot sign in

If you cannot access your account, email support@dearmidas.com from the email address associated with your Midas account and ask us to delete your account. Include your Midas username if you know it. We may ask for additional information to verify that you own the account before deletion.

What data is deleted

Account deletion permanently removes your profile, posts, comments, votes, saves, messages, notifications, push tokens, and other account-linked data from active Midas systems.

What may be retained

We may retain limited records when required for legal, security, abuse-prevention, moderation, dispute-resolution, or transaction record purposes. Retained records are kept only as long as reasonably necessary for those purposes.
